Devil's Brew

How do you escape reality?

Will it involve raping thou organs with the sip of booze.

Why would you choose to satisfy yourself with this poison.

Was the noise of the baby's plea too drastic?

How about thou fantastic conception to create a child.

Whose wild endless dreams will seem like piped request.

Why can't you accept responsibility without causing infamy.

Is your dignity at stake for your mistakes you've passed upon your children.

When will you consider redemption for your sins.

By the taste of those moist lips upon thee alcohol's tip.

Will only result in clustering of the heart.

Apart from expressing distressed love.

Like doves intertwining across thee pond.

Fond of off springs you glance.

Into the distance just grasping for a can.

Like an orphan asking for seconds, who then is beckoned with remorse.

Of course you wouldn't give a damn.

Just cramming amounts of cash from your hidden mattress stash.

And when you drink in repetitions.

Your sense of morals are driven into a spiral.

Like cars hydroplaning upon the freeway on a rainy morning.

Sworn by promises of giving up this addiction.

Have only left thou afflicted with second guessing yourself.

Lectured day in and day out.

Without your devil's blood, you are nothing but a hollow shell.

Truth be told, you say you lost your sense of reality.

When really reality actually left you.
